2006 Winner		The Mike Alesko Design Scholarship Fund is proud to announce ALLISON BROOK as its fourth annual recipient. Allison graduated with honors from University of California - Santa Cruz with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Art. She also attended a summer at the University of Havana, Cuba that has greatly enriched her cultural experiences. Currently, Allison is attending The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Allison believes fashion is about lifestyle, expression, comfort and confidence. These three lessons are her daily guide: set challenging goals, always have passion for whatever you put your mind to, and stay true to yourself through thick and thin. Through her experiences she has developed a strong eye for color, fabrics and upcoming designs. We know that Allison’s skills and passions will no doubt lead her to more exciting and rewarding experiences in the fashion world. We are pleased to award this year’s Mike Alesko Design Scholarship to Allison Brook and wish her much success as she pursues her dreams in the fashion industry! Congratulations Allison!
