2006 Winner		The Mike Alesko Design Scholarship Fund is very pleased to announce ELIZABETH STIERMAN as its seventh annual recipient. Elizabeth currently is a senior at Wahlert High School in Dubuque, Iowa. While at Wahlert High, she has had the opportunity to excel in many art classes in addition to participating in the Art Club, National Honor Society, Service Day, and school newspaper. This year, Elizabeth holds the position of co-editor-in-chief for the school newspaper. She has used her desktop publishing skills and her eye for good design to help make the newspaper more visually appealing. We are truly impressed by Elizabeth's ability to maintain a 4.0 grade point average while being involved in these numerous activities as well as working part time. Elizabeth looks forward to graduation at the end of May, and in the fall, she plans to attend Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, where she will study apparel design. We wish Elizabeth much continued success in her studies at Stephens College and at making her fashion design concepts come alive! Congratulations Elizabeth!
