2006 Winner		The Mike Alesko Design Scholarship Fund is proud to announce KASIA WISNIEWSKI as our eighth annual recipient! Kasia is currently a senior at Milwaukee High School of the Arts, and will be graduating as valedictorian in June. As a visual arts major, she has earned numerous awards and is considered one of the finest artists the school has ever had. She has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA which is remarkable considering her class schedule included nine Advance Placement courses. One of Kasia’s extra curricular activities is playing the harp and piano in the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. She also volunteers in one of her local elementary school’s after-school camps as an art instructor. In the fall, Kasia will be attending Pratt Institute in Brooklyn to pursue a major in Fashion Design. She is extremely interested in environmental friendly fashion, including organic fabrics and conflict-free materials. Kasia is a truly deserving candidate for this scholarship award and we wish her much continued success as she realizes her dreams and goals. Congratulations Kasia!
